Battery monitoring (BAT) for escape door systems
record PROTECT RC 2 and RC 3 offers all the advantages of an elegant sliding door, but with effective burglar resistance for increased security requirements.
Studies show that 50% of all burglary attempts fail and are aborted after only three to five minutes if doors are equipped with burglar-resistant and reinforced elements. At record we offer various door systems with resistance classes such as RC 2 or RC 3 tested and certified according to EN 1627, which are also suitable for escape and rescue routes.
Special constructive measures, stiffeners and reinforced elements integrated in the door system provide effective protection against intruders. record PROTECT RC 2 and RC 3 is therefore perfectly suited as an external door to protect you from cold or heat loss as well as to ward off burglary attempts. It is the ideal entrance door for your shop, hotel, office, education or healthcare facilities.
The well-proven double and single-leaf classic sliding doors from record are at the very centre of the product range, and are suitable for almost any application. The modular drive and profile systems guarantee reliable and low-noise operation over long periods.
The perfectly designed doors with their elegant appearance can be expanded according to customer requirements with regard to security, performance and convenience. Depending on the requirements, narrow, standard or robust glass profiles are used for the glass doors, and all models can be equipped with escape route safety systems.
The robust STA 22 automatic door is particularly suitable for special entrances and applications, which require heavier door leaves. The operator technology in this model is particularly stable and reliable and has maintained its position successfully in the market for many years.
record's classic single or double leaf automatic sliding doors are exceptionally versatile and meet a wide range of challenging requirements. The STA 22 model has opening widths of 800mm to 3,000 mm and can accommodate door weights of up to 1 x 250 or 2 x 200 kilos.
The record THERMCORD is an automatic door system that has thermally separated door profiles with heat insulating properties. The ift Rosenheim determined an achievable heat transmission coefficient (UD) of 1.4 W / m2 K featuring approved insulating glazing. THERMCORD is employed as an inside or outside door in areas with, even temporarily, a high-temperature differential.
THERMCORD has been developed entirely in-house – from the original idea to market introduction. The in-house development has allowed us to focus on and implement specific features which are of particular importance to the use as a door system. Barely distinguishable except for its thermal performance, THERMCORD can be subtly incorporated into your global concept and is therefore perfectly suited to replace old installations and complete conventional door systems where a more temperature efficient solution desirable.
record THERMCORD RC 2 / RC 3 is the ideal entrance door for your retail store, hotel or office building. You will receive effective burglar resistance in combination with efficient, energy-saving properties, which reduce your heating and air-conditioning costs.
The THERMCORD RC 2/RC 3 is particularly suitable for break-in protection since the door frames are designed to be extremely strong to ensure thermal separation. Two intertwined, V-shaped profiles ensure a level of sturdiness that provides immense resistance to attacks by burglars. Moreover, because these two V-profiles do not touch each other at any point inside the door, any heat exchange between the inside and outside of the door system is prevented.
The record THERMCORD+ profile system, has a striking range of features designed to reduce climate control costs, by using active seals.
Pressure differences between the inside and outside of large buildings are common, and inevitably lead to considerable suction, allowing cold, heat and dust to get in, but also cooled or heated air to escape in an uncontrolled manner.
With the door closed, the active sealing system patented by record stops all suction, and achieves air permeability values which, for sliding doors, are exceeded only by special products for use in operating theaters or clean rooms.
The new THERMCORD3 automatic door system provides an exceptional thermal barrier from top to bottom to reduce heating and air-conditioning costs.
It is also impervious to hurricane-force winds, protects from driving rain and storms and offers extraordinary noise reduction making it ideal for all types of applications including care homes, hospitals, schools, colleges, universities, offices, public buildings, restaurants and leisure facilities.
Where an opening needs to be as wide as possible record's two or four leaf telescopic sliding doors provide an impressive alternative to sliding doors. In comparison with the traditional sliding door, they take up about 30 % less space thanks to their narrower leaves, and yet can cover especially large opening widths of up to 4,000 mm.
The maximum door weights range from 2 x 130 kg for single, and 4 x 90 kg for telescopic sliding doors on both sides. These telescopic doors use the same robust and extremely reliable record system 20 which fulfils 2006 / 42 / EG industrial guidelines for machines, DIN 18650 as well as meeting all relevant national and international standards.
