The Cov-ID reader from record authenticates the EU Digital Covid Certificates QR code near instantly, and in any orientation. Decoding the information contained within the code, it delivers clear audio and visual feedback that the holder’s Covid Certificate is genuine and that they are vaccinated against, or have tested negative for, COVID-19. The Cov-ID reader also has built in OCR reading to allow passports, or any ICAO 9303 identity document to be read. This functionality allows a cross match to be made between the Covid certificate holder and an ID document. No personal data is stored. The data is only used for validation.

How it works…
Users have to present both…. avalid certificate + ID / Passport
--> The reader provides a clear audio and visual feedback to the user.
There is also a relay board (option) available which provides the relevant output signals. This allows direct integration to BMS systems and interaction with doors such as speedgates, turnstiles etc.
